Project Description
The purpose of the DATA ANALYSIS project is to introduce methods
used in Chronobiology to assess predictable rhythmic behavior
in physiological variables, and to show how the information thus
gained may be useful for screening, diagnosis, and treatment,
notably with respect to cardiovascular health.
Project Deliverables
- Algorithms for
estimating rhythm characteristics, for detecting abnormal patterns
associated with risk elevation, and for assessing responses to
intervention
- Program modules
to accomplish the above-stated tasks
- Examples of
applications in the clinic and in basic science
